Please i need your help and advice my email is filippo.defrancisci@gmail.com thank you in advance best regards Filippo Hi Filippo, I am probably not the most experienced man to give any advice, but I have looked at this kind of boat myself. Personally, I thought it to be too narrow inside. Otherwise very good sailboat value for the money. The boat was produced in Tønsberg, Norway and is a well repected sailboat design. You should watch very carefully for leaks in the roof or windows. Norway is very rainy. I know from others' experience, that it's a good and safe, easy-handled sailor, especially in stronger winds. Lots of wood interior, but some of them were delivered half finished and are user-built, so the quality of the interior work may vary. You should not count any value for an old engine, although that depends on the use and maintenance, as you probably already know. I looked at one of these last Summer, boasting a new two sylinder Yanmar engine, for NOK 70 000. Personally, I found it to be too narrow inside for my liking. But that would depend on your priorities and number of people, and they say three in the cockpit is close to maximum for comfort. Below, I have translated parts of one user comment in 2003, from swedish on www.sailguide.com Alo 28 1977 One season experience, family sailing."Stiff", Good strong wind sailor, max gps speed logged in hard winds 11,3kn, normal speed in fair winds: 5 kn Easily balanced.Comfort on longer journeys: Adequate for two persons, with good will additionally two children. Have sailed it a lot for one season, including from Stromstad to Narvik. It's a safe boat and almost impossible to get water into the cockpit. Very slow in weak winds Redigert 3.Mars.2014 av Propell1 (see edit history) Sitér dette innlegget Makthavere som velger propaganda som metode tar skjebnesvangre valg. De hisser opp mennesker. Filippo Defranci Svart 3.Mars.2014 Emnestarter Link til dette innlegget Svart 3.Mars.2014 thanks to everybody, Eureka i saw a couple of days ago the alo 28 on finn.no, this told me that the price here in italy is quite good. Now the problem i got are the prices of the harbor slot, i don't know in Norway guys, but in Italy they are crazy: 2500 euros (almost 21000 nok) is the cheapest annual rental i've found in my city...
