Inflatable cockpit cover for sailboats, without metallic parts

Hi folks

Apologies in advance for the post in English.

I thought you'd be interested to know about our small startup from Copenhagen, launching a cockpit cover / enclosure for sailboats that is inflatable, without any metallic parts.

Being very easy to store bellow deck on a bag, this is very a interesting option for small boat owners that need a bit more space while cruising or even racers that won't drill 30 holes on their boat for a traditional cover.

I invite you to know more about us and to give us some suggestions that we'll certainly include in our prototyping: http://boattent.com.

We have a few folks in Scandinavia ordering some tents at discount during our crowdfunding campaign, that we're launching (including Wasa30, sunfast, seascape 27, first 35, ETAP 37s. etc.. Feel free to consider the same and benefit from 40-60% discount ahead of our summer launch: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/boattent-inflatable-cockpit-cover-for-sail-boats/x/8325705.

Your feedback will be very appreciated

Cheers

Tror jeg foretrekker "tradisjonelt" cockpittelt når det blåser litt, den så ganske trekkfull ut.

Hi EiSvIn, please take our pictures as the first prototype that was tested on a boat with the wrong dimensions, hardly close to the final product. But you're rightfully concerned about wind. We're starting production now: as soon as we have the first product we'll take a few pictures and a cool video that'll change your mind about boatTENT's wind-proofness :)

Hi folks

Almost 7 months have passed.

We have now 8 tents shipped and producing 2 a week, with expected deliveries in August. Production started slow due to low budget as a startup but we are now expecting to reach 40-60 tents delivered by end of August.

You can find some recent photos (tent for a seascape 18 in Austria) on our blog: http://www.boattent.com/blog/2015/6/29/first-photos-of-boattent-v14.

Excuse the lack of fancy photos. Rumour is that a big press release is coming with the good ones :)

Interested? http://boatTENT.com?

Feedback? Would love to hear it: anibal@boattent.com or +45 30 14 37 48 (DK)

Hope you have the chance to enjoy a great summer!

/Anibal
