Andy B Startet 12.Juni.2020 Del på Facebook Startet 12.Juni.2020 I have problems with the engine reaching the RPM required – Mercruiser 1.7 DTI - 2004 Model With the gear in neutral the engine will reach normal RPM and can be increased to approx. 4,400rpm. However, once the propeller is engaged the RPM only reaches up to 2,200rpm All sounds normal up to 2,200rpm, then nothing happens when increasing the throttle, there is no change in sound or any noticeable black exhaust. The fuel rack moves with the throttle but does not have any effect. The boats hull and drive is clean, with no shells at all. I thought it might be fuel filter, so I have changed both filters and still the same problem. Any ideas ? Maybe turbo? Sitér dette innlegget
Jens_P Svart 12.Juni.2020 Del på Facebook Svart 12.Juni.2020 (redigert) Perhaps wastegate walve is stuck in partly open position. I mean it is about 2200 rpm turbo starts to build pressure on my engine. Or turbo may be stuck.
