I am bussy to build in the engine in a open steel vlet of 6 meters we want to use it to go fishing with mental handicapt persons who live in the place where I work.

You will probably only require new original thrust rings. The metal does normally not wear much, it's the plastic parts (thrust rings) that takes the wear. New rings can be purchased from a Sabb dealer for a reasonable price. You need three rings, and they have to be cut open to be inserted. Easy job!

Hello MtM and index!

First, The 2H engine is an super engine. The best i know. All SABB motors are best.

index has right, but just two of the rings shall be cutted. One of them has to be put on when the propeller shaft is out.

As index told, easy job

Good Luck

Ok,

That is possible.

But we just take out the propeller shaft and puts one of the rings on and the two other inside the propeller house.

I think I payed about half that price when I changed mine 5.6 years ago. So they might have pulled your leg a bit there.... But it is nice to know that everything is OK!
