I'm from Stralsund, Germany and some weeks ago I bought a small, open, wooden boat in Kristiansand, Norway. The boat is equipped with an 1-cylinder-engine, made by FM Motor in Fredrikstad, Norway. Meanwhile we get the engine running, but unfortunately there is a lot of oil coming out of the snorkling valve. Maybe there is too much oil in the engine, maybe there is anything wrong with the snorkling valve. Another triggy point is the connection between the gear box and the propeller drive shaft, as well as the connection between the pitch lever and the tube around the shaft which differs the pitch of the propellerblades.
It would be nice if anyone has some helpful ideas to fix the problems. Maybe there are some pictures, photos, videos or drawings to see how it should work.
