Dette er en seiglivet myte, vi har hatt denne diskusjonen før. Aceton er ikke alkoholholdig, det er en keton. https://snl.no/aceton Hvordan "trekker aceton voks opp i overflaten"? Hvor kommer i så fall voksen fra? Hvis det er voks i overflaten må det vel være best å fjerne det før man lakkerer.
Mine erfaringer er at aceton fungerer veldig bra, og jeg støtter meg på faglitteratur. Les f.eks. "Handbook of Plastics Joining" (https://www.sciencedirect.com/book/9780815515814/handbook-of-plastics-joining) kapittel 17.7.2.1 Solvent Cleaning and Degreasing:
SitatSolvent cleaning removes release agents, such as silicone that may coat the part during molding, and any machine oil transferred to the part. Abrading surfaces coated with oil or grease drives the contaminants further into the parts, and chemical alteration of the surface is ineffective in the presence of contaminants. Solvent cleaning should both precede and follow abrasive treatments. [...] A range of solvents are available depending upon the scale of the cleaning operation, environmental control facilities available, and the expected type of contamination [ 1 , 14 ].
Solvents such as methyl ethyl ketone, toluene, acetone, isopropyl alcohol, trichloroethylene, and perchloroethylene can be used.
