Projekt: Scand 9200

As allways, nicely done doctordre. I liked the trick you used on the waterpipes to separate hot from cold. This project must be a costly one? superclean wiring n pipe work!!

It is not so expensive as it looks. But I rather do it well than half. So it takes more time than I wanted but it will be certainly be worth the effort. We see, probably at the end of this year.

Several weeks passed. Most of the work is now invisible.

And carpentry is now my best skill, so with some professional help, I am changing the panel with mahogany wood.

it takes a lot of patience to get them well. ( 8 layers of varnish)

this is an example of the panel in the toilet.

in the mean time, (between the varnish paintjobs) the kitchen gets it new shape.

Up till now:

The new fridge is 75 liter total. 10L freezer and 65L refrigerator. And for comfort, the compressor is external and I put it under the seat outside.

So the noise is less at night, and the heat will remain outside the cabin.

For the technicians: it is a

C75L VITRIFRIGO. 12V 2,8A. 34Watt and it needs about 340Watt per day. A cold buffer is optional.

Due to the new fridge and (induction) cooker, the whole kitchen dresser went up by 5 centimeter (2 inch).

for the space there is, it is quite a lot, and it clearly noticeable. However for me personal it is easier to

use it. I am 2.00 meter tall so I don't have to bend down so much. It felt a lot better for my back.

The dash slowly comes to life.

sorry the pictures are not very clear . but i hope you see the result.

The first row is connected and de light intensity is 20% in the first picture. The colour is yellow at this moment. but in the end it will be blue. because i didn't had the blue LEDs yet.

1408707520.jpg

when i press a key the intensity of that specific key will be 100%. (like it should nothing special)

1408707926.jpg

With circumstances when you have the dashbackligh almost maximum(here is 80%), you almost don't see the difference between 80% and 100%,

so in this case the system works reverse. When you press the button the light will go off for that moment.

1408708175.jpg

You probebly are missing several buttons. like navigationlight ed. But these will be controlled by the Touch display of this dash.

There is more flexibility since buttons and switch can be added or removed.

Where did you buy the touch panels??

Hello Jangul. I got the question before, by mail.

The design is my own. With help from a friend who uses AUTOCAD. He made the drawings for the aluminium and the glass from my design so that a machine could produce it.

The wingbuttons I made them with the help of a program inkscape. Then the glass is made by a company in Belgium. it is tempered glass. the text is not printed, but burn the glass.

this way, black in really black and not transparent. as for the electronics and software. The electronics is made by a company called VETH. and the software for it I wrote myself.

All the parts are glued together with window-glue that is used in the car industry.

So for the time being it is a one of a kind. However all the drawings and software are designed for serial production. bilde

Inside the boat there are four hotspots. bilde

engine PS and engine SB are interfaces that read temp, press and voltage sensors and can start and stop the engine and control the trim and tabs. they are connected with the PS and SB display.

the steering wheel dash controls all the domestic system. so the domestic hotspot switches on the lights and other things and read the water level.

the GPS is connected with the centre display. and also connected with the last steering wheel hotspot. so from the steering wheel it is possible to kill the alarm buzzer from the engine, dim the lights off the displays

and send special commands to the engine(bay) like set trailer position, cruise control, start generator and things like that.

The kitchen is getting into shape.

The beginning with just a board of wood

d001.jpg

after sanding and varnishing and sanding and varnishing and......8 times

it started to look good.

d003.jpg

The top board has a HPL layer. So it is water resistant.

d004.jpg

Before reinstalling the shelf on top , some lighting and the support for the drawer needs to be installed first.

The induction cooker is 3100W in total and gets its power from a Victron converter. Also a power socket will be installed on top for

something like a coffeemaker of microwave or other kitchen appliances. Or to charge a laptop.

Between stages, the support connectors are glued in to hold the electronic PCB for the dash.

a005.jpg

on top are the PCB's .

The little things in the kitchen, like lights. And of course "Size do matter"

2 cradles of beer without problems fits the cabinet

bilde

In meantime the helm seat was ready for overhauling. unfortunately the mainstay(the foot on the floor) is so much corroded that it is almost impossible to restore it.

So I was wondering if anyone know the brand of the mainstay?

dashboard wiring is finished.

Here are the pictures before:

1418846278.jpg

1418846314.jpg

So to be honest, nobody could do worse.

1418846401.jpg

Here you can see the main wires

1- Throttle

2- domestic network

3 and 4 engine network

1418846352.jpg

The two black ones is the tubing for the steering wheel.

The hole is close with a Raymarine GPS(e7). I choose for this option because I don't like to put the additional devices on brackets. The are already so many

holes. During the Christmas holiday I will do the programming of the network.

1418846468.jpg

So that's it for now. I want to wish everyone in Norway a happy holidays and best wishes for the 2015.
