Nice work you are doing, It is good get control over this wiring. This we take in norwegian: God Jul Realy nice work on a classic norwegian boat:-) Nice work on a nice boat! Dynamic 9200 is produced i my hometown "Arendal" :) Really nice work! Just tidying up that crows-nest must have saved you 20kg! When you are done, you can fix my wiring as well if you want more work! Thank you all. main benefit is that is becomes much clearer. Like for instance; the spoiler from the dash to the spoiler is a 4 wire cable. Power and CAN network. But on the spoiler are 7 or 8 items like lights, horn and searchlight. Same is for the engine: two big looms came from the engine. Now i keep the looms in the engine bay and just translate it to network. less change on faults. Sitér dette innlegget Link to post
doctordre Svart 11.Januar.2015 Emnestarter Link til dette innlegget Svart 11.Januar.2015 During the holidays, I started programming the boat. Step by step it comes alive. The throttle is connected to the network. PS is neutral and Sb is in forward position. On this first page you will see RPM ofcouse, together with Coolant temp, oil pressure, voltage and Fuel Rate. the cabinlights are made dimmable with a normal switch. If you press the top, the lights go brighter, press it again, the lights go softer. The bottom is a full on/off switch. Also the targa bar is up. It took a while, because its a two men job. But it is now fixed with 8 M10 SS bolds and nuts. The boat showed some thick places. The thickest point was 6 cm thick so my bolds of 80mm was not enough. On the bottom side i place a stainless steel plate of 5mm. So another challenge came. Drill a hole of 15mm for the wiring. Sitér dette innlegget Link to post
Whiskey Svart 11.Januar.2015 Link til dette innlegget Svart 11.Januar.2015 Hi, enjoy your thread. Very impressed by the dash. I also am upgrading my dash, though not as fancy ☺ I got two transflective 1 bit low res lcds, sun light readable. Hooked up to an arduino and GPS module (10 USD on ebay). Planning to hook it up to the motor rpm, fuel gauge, volt meter etc. Thought about using canbus, but not gotten that far with the planning. What do u use at the terminals, for example the lights? Hello Whiskey, Thank you. Do you mean the connecting terminals and or wiring? For the endpoint like lights and switches i use a 2-wire cable. Since there are some gathing points. the cable is never long. So my cabinlight goes to the domestic module. For the Targa bar is used a 16 wire cable. (nav lights(4), horn, courtesy light, searchlight etc) And as terminal DIN rail terminal blocks with tension spring connection Because more people liked it and also asked for . My brother and i decide to make a complete package for DIY. Sitér dette innlegget Link to post

So the multicore connects all the things on the spoiler to the CAN module which contains all the fuses too. doctordre Svart 5.Februar.2015 Emnestarter Link til dette innlegget Svart 5.Februar.2015 The final version of the engine display. The gauge pointer is replace by a progress bar. Other advantage is that without the markers, the gauge is easily adjustable. it is now 0-100% and the bar colour changes from 90-100% into red. 5000 rpm =100%. These setting are for my engine. For the diesels I program(SCANIA, CAT), Max is 2000 RPM so above 1800 is Red. For speed I use the same gauge. Maximum will be 120kph. so above 100kph will be red. Which I hope to touch. doctordre Svart 13.Mars.2015 Emnestarter Link til dette innlegget Svart 13.Mars.2015 Another job done. The tails has been sand blasted. All stripped of their layers and layers(and more layers) of antifauling. here still at its original owner. And spraypainted in several layers of epoxy coating. After sanding the corrosion became more visible. But then again, the tails are more than 20 years old. And with the new bravo one striping, they probably will look like new. The damage that can be seen on the left drive is also fixed. There were several repairs already. the welder removed all the little repaired pieces and replace it by one new aluminium piece. meanwhile the dashboard came alive. I added a speedo and a depth gauge The speed is in kilometres per hour. The dial will go up 100kph in blue and above continuous in red till 110. I hope to see the red once in a while.... The depth gauge will go till 10 meters. If it is deeper than 10 meters than I suppose it is not so interesting. However the digits will continue to a max of 350 meters. Below 10 meters, depth is given in steps of 10 cm. one meter and below the dial turn red also. Depending what is interesting, you always see both. The big gauge is changed to a small one in the left top corner. Now I started remounting the gimbal housing. terrible job. Meanwhile somebody is coming to measure for a new boatcover.
