First day at the water this year she did 29.9 kts according to my gps. Here later at the season as growing is building and more shoes and bikinies pile up in the cabin, I will get 26-27 kts on a calm day; WOT and 2 persons on board. Cruising at 3100 RPM usually levels out at 18-ish kts. Sitér dette innlegget Link to post
doctordre Svart 6.August.2018 Emnestarter Link til dette innlegget Svart 6.August.2018 This weekend first time WOT. Unfortunately no pictures made. i forgot about it. But it did 47knt or 87 kph at 4400 =rpm. The engine stopped there. After some more testing we found out that the fuel line is too long or too small to supply the amount of fuel needed. The fuel chamber between the fuel pump and the high pressure pump is empty quickly after serious acceleration or at wot. So more tinkering to do. pictures next time. Undocumented feature maybe but fuel economy is my project for next year. First run as fast as possible. then Next year the plan is to add a Hydrogen generator. HHO generator but there are issues to be fixed first . Like the swimplatform is leaking when the boat moved backward or when the drive touch the platform. And there some trouble with charging the domestic battery. it takes to long or it does not charge. Dynamo voltage is 13.6-13.8V Charging from shorepower is perfect. Sitér dette innlegget Link to post
doctordre Svart 12.September.2018 Emnestarter Link til dette innlegget Svart 12.September.2018 Summer season is almost over. Took the boat for more than 60 hours. I cannot tell exactly because i did not always use both engines. Cornering is fun because of the round hull. But like usual there are things to improve. Battery protection. Sometimes shore power is gone for a few days and unfortunately the charger/converter drains my batteries. Trim Tab. These must be bigger and needs a bigger angel upwards. At full throttle, it remains pushing the noise down to much. Dirt Water Tank. Replace the tank and i change the water tank to so i can finish the floor. Generator. Check the system because the generator stops after a few seconds. Trim sender is not working yet. Engine produces an engine fault on this. Make a step on the swim platform on both side. Getting inside from the deck is terrible. I am getting older. an the height difference between the deck en platform is to much for easy access. Change the depth sensor. I cannot get it to work on my Raymarine e7. Solve some electric undocumented features. Increase the fuel line. Sitér dette innlegget Link to post

doctordre Svart 15.Oktober.2018 Emnestarter Link til dette innlegget Svart 15.Oktober.2018 It never ends does it ?! For the last time this season we wanted to make a trip of around 200 km. With a group of 30 boats we planned to go up the North Sea. The weather was good. 25 degrees yesterday. Wind 1-2 bft (<11km/h) . Waves on the sea was less 1.7 meters. Ideal for some fun. We departed and still in the harbor i saw smoke coming out of my dashboard. I quickly pulled my radio out but no sign of a fire. Smoke also came out of my air intake so my company opened the hatch. and yes there it was. My wiring boom was on fire. Just a little but. After taking care of the fire, we try to figure out what caused it because i took the boat out for about 60-80 hours this year. It was the fuel pressure regulator. It started to leak some fuel. The fuel felt on the exhaust and got hot. and therefore the plastic wiring boom caught fire. So 250 meters and that was the end of the trip. Just another point on the list to do this winter. I made a new display that is sunlight readable and is protected against water. ofcource with CANbus(2x) with finally a boot loader. so programmable via canbus but all electronics is now inside the box. resolution is a bit better 800x480 instead of 600x480. The rest is almost the same. you see a lot of wires but it has about 10 inputs and outputs and there is a possiblity to connect to a camera Redigert 22.Februar.2019 av doctordre (see edit history) Sitér dette innlegget Link to post

I think i never stop changing things. electronics is an even great hobby as boating, maybe even bigger. To kanalkapteinen Also thanks. i used it not so much as i would like but since the launch about 300-350 engine hours. I used the boat more but usually we go somewhere to the beach or forest which is just a few kilometres from here. The advantage of a small county. To make a trip through the forest is about two hours due to speedlimit(~9km) and then we hang around and get some sun. Hydrogen is still the plan. But there are still a lot of things to do. like new trim tabs. And as for the generator. The original exhaust is just a little cap with two screws. a friend copied that but added a little piece of pipe to it so i could connect it with a flexible exhaust and a heat protection around it and drilled the hole thru the hull . between the registration number. will be continued.. For the endpoint like lights and switches i use a 2-wire cable. Since there are some gathing points. the cable is never long. So my cabinlight goes to the domestic module. For the Targa bar is used a 16 wire cable. (nav lights(4), horn, courtesy light, searchlight etc) And as terminal DIN rail terminal blocks with tension spring connection Because more people liked it and also asked for . doctordre Svart 18.Juli.2024 Emnestarter Link til dette innlegget Svart 18.Juli.2024 it has been a while. Time goes fast Unfortunately not. The reason is that the costs for production became very high. And also the number of available standard product became better and cheaper. So all the display electronics is replaced this year by a mini PC with a N100 processor. It is a lot cheaper and has more utilities than the electronics made for the displays. This together with a Can/NMEA2000 converter it made things easier to get. (aliexpress has a lot) I used :Chatreey T9 Mini Pc Intel N100 + ECAN-E01 CAN2.0 To Ethernet. + 3 x displays 1000 nits (HDMI) And for the programmers they can make their own display view. As for touch buttons there is now a type 3323-5x (TT electronics) which is a complete button with RGB light and adjustable sensitivity Sitér dette innlegget Link to post
